Sexual harassment is a constant in women's lives and is an experience we wish we could erase from our minds. However, sexist society and the police are responsible for silencing, minimizing, and ignoring the seriousness of these cases.
When we try to report it, they don't believe us and turn their backs on us; they don't take us seriously. Many cases of harassment end up turning into cases of sexual, physical, or mental violence. The legal action protocol must change to guarantee a process of support and legal advice for women who bravely and with great strength decide to report these incidents.
